Donate a Vehicle,
Support Our Work

Donating a car, truck, motorcycle or RV is one of the most direct ways to support National Heritage for the Blind. Pickup and title transfer are handled nationwide at no cost to you, and the proceeds fund the free programs on this site — our accessible library, our benefits finder, and our accessibility tools.

Our vehicle donation program is operated on our behalf by 1-800-DonateCars, who will arrange the pickup and send your tax receipt. Clicking below takes you to their site to start the donation.

DONATE A VEHICLE

National Heritage for the Blind is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 39-2947761), so your vehicle donation is tax-deductible. How much you can deduct generally depends on what the vehicle sells for — see IRS Publication 4303, A Donor's Guide to Vehicle Donations.

I had to let go of my baby Nissan Pathfinder after 12yrs, was very sad but Paddle made me feel better when I was info what was going to happened with my car after got pick-up. Everybody was super nice and understanding that it was my first time giving up a car for donation. Thank you so much for everything.
