The _Roman_ power shall be quite put down, His great Neighbour shall follow his steps, Secret and civil hatreds and quarrels, Shall stop the Buffons folly.

ANNOT.

The first Verse signifieth, that the _Pope_’s Authority shall be put down.

The second, that his great neighbour, that is the Empire shall follow his steps, that is, be put down too. The two last Verses are plain.
