[2925] Addit. 37079, 15th century, fol. 102r, “et avenzoar hec invenit ut in libro populo romano.” It is easy to see, however, how the Latin abbreviations for _Papa Bonifacius_ and _populus Romanus_ might be confused by a copyist. Unfortunately I have not been able to trace this point further in other MSS.
